About The Characters

Jelly and Bean are two kittens who came into the author’s family in June 1998. They are sister and brother. 
Bean loves to eat and he sleeps a great deal. He loves to catch insects. He is a very calm relaxed cat. Jelly is more active and more inquisitive than Bean.

 

                                

 

Wellington is the father of Kevin. He is a kind dog and looks after Kevin very well. Kevin is a mischievous puppy and he likes to run around. Both dogs sleep in the blue kennel in the farmyard in the summer. In the winter they sleep in the farmhouse.  Lotty is a female puppy. She is the farmer's pet dog and she lives in the farmhouse all the time. She has a dog flap in the farmhouse door and she goes out to play with Kevin most of the time

Sheep and cows also live at Follifoot Farm.  The cows stay out in the fields in the summer. The sheep live up on the hill with the lambs. They all stay in the barn in the farmyard in the winter. A bull and a horse are introduced in Follifoot Farm Series 2 together with two new cats, Pippin and Rumple.

The pig family consists of Mum, Dad, Billy, Milly, Tilly and Tom. They live in a green hut in a pigpen. There are bushes down one side of the pigpen and an old hollow log. When it rains a patch of ground turns to mud. There is a path out of the pigpen which leads to the pond. The little pigs like to play in the pond.
